Philadelphia Legal Assistance (PLA) has signed a new lease in Center City Philadelphia. The nonprofit provides free civil legal services to residents who cannot afford representation. PLA secured 20,643 square feet at the historic Cast Iron Building. The organization will occupy the second and third floors at 718–720 Arch Street.
The relocation positions PLA as the building’s largest tenant. Other tenants include Vision for Equality, Local Initiatives Support Corp., and owner AMC Delancey. PLA scheduled its move-in for January 29, 2026. The transition strengthens the nonprofit’s presence in downtown Philadelphia.
Notably, PLA marks the second nonprofit office relocation in Center City within the past year. Community Legal Services also committed to new space downtown.
That organization relocated from 1424 Chestnut Street to 123 South Broad Street. SSH Real Estate owns the Broad Street property. These transactions reflect continued demand for well-located office space in Philadelphia’s urban core. Nonprofit organizations remain active participants in the Center City leasing market.
