CBS has renewed its office lease at 1500 Spring Garden Street in Center City Philadelphia. The broadcaster signed a long-term extension for 74,000 square feet.
The lease includes 62,000 square feet on the sixth floor and 12,000 square feet in the lower level. The lower-level space supports the company’s vehicle fleet.
CBS operates KYW-TV (CBS 3) and WPSG-TV (Philly 57) from the location. The facility serves as the company’s primary broadcasting hub for the Delaware Valley.
The property houses high-definition studios, control rooms, and rooftop satellite equipment. CBS first moved into the building in 2007, and the renewal extends its lease through 2042.
The Class A office tower totals approximately 1.22 million square feet. It is jointly owned by Nightingale Properties and Wafra Inc..
CBS is the building’s third-largest tenant. Other major occupants include Day & Zimmermann and Evolution Gaming.
The renewal signals continued stability among large institutional tenants in Center City. Long-term commitments remain critical for strengthening Philadelphia’s office fundamentals.
