Irish water infrastructure engineering firm Glanua has selected Radnor for its first U.S. headquarters. The fast-growing company plans to hire 200 employees as it expands into the American market.
Glanua opened a 1,700-square-foot office at Radnor Financial Center, owned by Brandywine Realty Trust. The space can initially accommodate between 10 and 15 employees.
However, the company’s plans extend well beyond its initial footprint. Glanua could grow to approximately 50 Radnor employees by mid-2027, depending on new contracts and opportunities.
The ability to expand within Radnor Financial Center played a role in the company’s location decision. Glanua also considered Chicago, Milwaukee, and locations in North Carolina before selecting the Philadelphia region.
Access to engineering talent was another significant factor. Radnor provides proximity to Villanova University and other colleges producing skilled engineering graduates throughout the region.
Glanua designs, builds, and operates water treatment facilities across several industries. Its clients include pharmaceutical, food and beverage, municipal, infrastructure, and industrial organizations.
The company is entering the U.S. market during a period of considerable growth. Its global workforce reached approximately 750 employees in September, compared with 545 at the end of 2025.
Additionally, Glanua expects annual revenue to approach $285 million in 2026. That represents a 62% increase from approximately $176 million last year.
For the suburban Philadelphia office market, Glanua’s decision demonstrates the continued importance of talent and expansion flexibility. Growing companies may initially require smaller footprints while maintaining plans for substantial future hiring.
Radnor and the broader Main Line offer access to established business communities, universities, and professional talent. These factors can help suburban office properties compete for companies entering or expanding within the region.
Glanua’s new headquarters also brings an international employer to the Philadelphia market. Its planned growth could generate additional office demand as the company’s U.S. operations expand.
